  • How do you apply your Teruko Ikeda training in your life and work?

I continue to impart the knowledge, skills, and values I gained from the training to blind learners enrolled at our university, in the primary, secondary, tertiary, and post-graduate levels of education, by conducting basic and intermediate computer literacy trainings. My learning has been useful even in my transcription, composition, and editting tasks. Furthermore, I have been honored, privileged, and humbled to apply and to upgrade what I learned through working on the Teruko-Ikeda-ICT website.

  • Most memorable experience during the Teruko Ikeda ICT Training

My most memorable experience during the Teruko-Ikeda-ICT training is having worked, in partnership with a fellow trainee, on teaching someone how to operate an audio extractor. Despite my being a novice at running the appplication and the "deliberate naughtiness" of our mock trainee, the task was performed successfully. More significantly, though, friendships were established and kept. Such an experience fueled my burning passion to learn more, to share more, and to serve more.

  • Thoughts you’d like to share with everyone

We are all blessed with the ability to learn so that to others, we may be blessings, in turn.
