Today, July 27, 2012, we are launching the website of the Teruko Ikeda ICT Group (www.TerukoIkedaICT.org). What started as a little idea and a proposal by two of the group’s members is now a reality. And as we celebrate this God-given victory, we would like to thank all the men and women who have generously given their support to the training program and have made this website possible.
To Ms. Teruko Ikeda, the main sponsor of the ICT training program, we would like to express our sincerest gratitude to you for providing opportunities to blind and visually impaired individuals in Asia and the Pacific Region for the past several years. To Mr. Tetsuji Tanaka and the Japan Braille Library, we thank you wholeheartedly for supporting the Teruko Ikeda ICT Training Program.
We also thank Ms. Teruko Ikeda and Mr. Tetsuji Tanaka for sharing their memorable and inspiring messages to the group.
To Ms. Yukiko Mizuno, one of the program’s most active supporters, we thank you endlessly for helping us acquire the pictures and messages of Ms. Ikeda and Mr. Tanaka. We also thank you for your involvement in the yearly training program.
To Mr. Wong Yoon Loong and Ms. Christina Ann Lau, we sincerely thank you for all your hard work and for organizing the training year after year. We truly appreciate all the information you have provided for the website.
And to Mr. David Hathaway and the rest of the trainers, we are forever thankful to you for sharing so much skills and knowledge to us—the trainees. We will always value and remember everything you have taught us as we in turn become advocates of ICT for the blind and visually impaired in our respective countries. Thank you for your thoughts and your inspiring messages to the group.
Once again, thank you very much to everyone who has supported this project!
